How to: bleeding brake sytems

Take a look at a quick and easy way to bleed and flush the brake system on a typical motorcycle braking system.  Proper bleeding of the brakes is important for safety and proper operation.  Common problems with hydraulic braking are likely due to poor or old fluid quality (as seen in the video) or even more common is the presence  of air in the system.  Air in the system causes problems because air can be compressed while fluid cannot so the air creates a buffer zone not allowing the fluid to move down the line to push on the caliper pistons and apply the brakes.  Using the above method in the video of reverse bleeding pushes the air up (the way the air naturally wants to travel) and out of the system.  Watch the video for an in depth tutorial with step by step procedures with the simple tools required to perform this technique for bleeding motorcycle brake systems.  If you have other questions please leave a comment below.  There is no need to register for an account to comment.
