Welcome to my visit of the Lambrecht Chevrolet auto auction. Posted here is pictures and video from the once in a life time event to see a huge stock of unsold cars from a long time Chevy dealer. Now most of the cars were not stored adequately but still serve as time capsules into what a brand new Chevrolet from back in the day would look like. Most of the cars will probably end up as parts cars for the sheet metal but some are worthy of restoration.

Ebay description (unedited)
This is an Original 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Sedan From the Lambrecht Chevrolet Company Inventory. This car was purchased from Lambrecht Chevrolet and traded back in as a used vehicle. Factory 283 230HP 4bbl Car with the 2 Speed Powerglide Transmission and 55,292 Miles on the odometer. Overall the car is in great shape showing only one spot of rust on the body (RH Rocker Panel), rust below the battery tray, and two spots on the rear floor pan smaller than a quarter. Missing parts include the carburetor, LH fender moulding, LH headlight bezel, Door Mirror, 3 hubcaps, shifter knob, and the owners manual which was stolen out of the car the day of the auction. There may also be a few other small items missing, otherwise very complete. The LH Rear Quarter Panel has a little damage in front of the bumper and the rear bumper is also bent, the front windshield is also cracked and needs replacement. The rest of the car shows normal wear for a used vehicle. Exterior paint is Cameo Coral Metallic on the bottom and Satin Beige on the top, the paint appears to be all original with the trunk and rear fins showing the most weather wear. Interior is also all original Gray Cloth and Vinyl showing normal wear with the front seat having some tearing and the rest of the interior with some staining. The rubber floor matt is extremely brittle and has broken up alot over the years along with the trunk matt. The engine parts have been taken off but are all there except the carburetor and all casting numbers match up and apear to be correct, the fasteners are laying inside the car and things could easily be put back together. From what i can tell this car has not sat outside all its life giving the condition of it and no buildup of dirt, leaves, or twigs, a true survivor original car. All the documentation is pictured for authenticity, buyer of car will get all documentation except for the Vanderbrink receipts. This car is also in the background of the History Channel's Showing of the Auction "History Made Now: Wheels of Fortune". Assuming the car is a one owner since it was bought from Lambrecht Chevrolet and then traded in, the buyer will be the second owner of the car since we are a Licensed Nebraska Dealer.

Ebay description (unedited)
This car is one of the famous new Lambrecht Chevrolets. We bought this at the auction that was on the 28th of September. This was one of the new Chevrolets that was in the inventory at Lambrecht in Pierce Nebraska. we bought this car and shipped it to Pennsylvania. We are a dealer and we bought this car to resell and are offering this at no reserve the last bidder owns it. The car is new, it has about ten miles on it.The odometer is deteriorated and is difficult to read. It has not ran since about 1961 it was inside then moved outside. The body is pretty solid, the floors have some rust, the trunk is in great shape. Other than some surface rust the outer body is nice. The is a dent on the L/R rear quarter panel at the molding. other than that the body is straight. The headlight bezels and the tail lights were stolen. We got replacements and put them on the car. Everything else is original right down to the five original tires. The interior is rough, it needs to be redone. There is the original plastic that was on the seats, and there is still cardboard on the floor. We are selling this car as we got it, we have not tried to start this car or even cleaned it. We put air in the tires, they hold air for a little while. I wanted to sell this car in the state as it was found. The new owner can do what they want with it. If you missed the auction here is your chance to own a piece of history. what you get is the original window sticker, a card board temporary plate from lambrecht, the auction list and the paper that was on the car with the auction number. This car has a title, not a MSO, you will get a copy and a Pennsylvania title. This is a no reserve auction please be serious when you bid. If you have no feedback please email me before bidding.
Here is a nice video from the new owner of the 1968 Chevy C10, ultimate fate unknown. Great video!

1968 Lambrecht Chevrolet C10 PickUp
Lot 53L from World Famous Lambrecht Auction in Pierce, Nebraska on Sept 28th, 2013
I won this truck via an online bid through Proxibid. I was 20 minutes late on seeing the Simulcast Live Bidding online.
This truck was sold on the first day of bidding.
No I am probably going to regret selling this truck for the the next 10-20 years after it leaves my garage, but I need to sell this truck
Heck I'm still kicking myself for selling my 1973 Ford Falcon XB Mad Max Interceptor from 17 years ago, but life goes on.
This truck was going to be the one to go to all the car shows, all the Hot Rod Power Tours and all the Car Craft nationals with an original rat rod Lambrecht Chevy.
I was going to paint in weathered letters on the doors Lambrecht Chevrolet Parts Dept., and "It Pays to See Ray' on the tailgate
I've amassed a ton of new parts since in went into storage in October 2013.
Uninstalled in original boxes parts that are included with this truck are:

Here is a great piece of history! It is an advertising thermometer in the original box! It is from Lambrecht Chevrolet Co. Pierce Nebraska. It says on it "It will pay to see Ray " Notice the telephone number is only 1 digit! That alone shows the age of this piece. It measures 7" tall by 2" wide. This is as mint condition as when it was produced, I doubt if it had ever been out of the box before I took it out last week! If you have any questions or would like any other pictures please ask! Thank you for looking and happy bidding!
