Barn Fresh episode 5 starts off with doing some pre-assembly and measurement before installing the piston rings on the piston and then installing the wrist pin bearing in the rod and piston before putting the cylinder back on the engine. I will take you through some of the often overlooked details of this process. Installing a 2 stroke top end kit is relatively simple and straight forward but there are just a few tips and tricks to help the top end go together easily and reliably. All the tips and tricks presented in the video are fairly universal and can be applied to any 2 stroke engine new or old, big or small. The Kawasaki Big Horn is unique in that it uses a 3 ring piston which is very un-common on 2 strokes of any size.
